A. CCNA is about "Cisco Certified Network Associate" in this particular exam we are going to study Routing and Switching. This exam tests a candidate's knowledge and skills which is required to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small to medium size enterprise branch network.
This Cisco exams have changed several times. In 2013, Cisco announced an update to its certification program that "aligns certification and training curriculum knowledge with evolving industry job roles. Now there are different types of Cisco-Certified Network Associate, with "CCNA Routing and Switching" being most closest to original CCNA focus. The are other types of CCNA focus on security, cloud, collaboration, security operations, design, data center technologies, industrial plants, services providers, and wireless.
