Terminal Server or Access-Server Lab

How to do Terminal Server or Access-Server with a Router

Hi ! everyone Today we are going to learn in this tutorial about how to configure terminal server or Access-Server with a Router. But first we have to start prepare following topology given below;

It says that if a client seating on PC0 will try to login to router R1, R2,R3,R4 or R5 he/she cannot be able to access these routers directly,he/she must have to go through Router0 which is an access server.

Step 1: Now i am going to configuring Access-Server

 Step 2: After configuring Access-Server we have to do troubleshoot

Step 3: Now again we have to go into Access-Server or Terminal server

Step 4: We should go to PC and from PC login to Access-Server or Terminal Server Router using SSH

First we have to assign the ip address for the PC0 through entering.

After completing the assigning process we have to go terminal server to check the network connections.

Now you can see that you have successfully login to Access-Server Router.

Now from Access-Server Router we will login to other router like R1,R2,R3,R4 and R5 and we can see how the process takes place.

As we said that we can look our explanation of above command will take you to Router R1.

Step 5: When we have to logout from the Router R1 you should go to terminal router and type the below given command

Finally, we have completed our configuring Router as a Terminal server or Access-Server with the help of cisco packet tracer 7.0.
